  • It`s after Christmas,...

20th day Yule is traditionally when the tree goes down in Fennoscandia. At this point, it's still being decorated with more bags of nuts and sweets.

    • Christmas begins on November 1st (when retailers toss aside the Halloween decorations for the Christmas ones), continues until January 1st (when they begin to focus on Valentine's Day), and makes a brief resurgence in July. Thus, Christmas has about 92 days and takes up a quarter of the year.

Where do you live? I started seeing some advertisements for Xmas just after Labor Day!!!!

      • Not anymore. They already will have some Christmas stuff out in September/October. The amount of Halloween stuff exceeds it until Nov 1, when all the Halloween shelves switch to Christmas stuff.

The build up and payoff was about as satisfying as "Bambi Meets Godzilla"

  • Maybe he should have kept that tree around. It's still 351 days until Christmas and people already have all their lights and decorations up! Just look around. Christmas is starting super early this year!

The tree is now just 100ft further out in a field. It didn't get turned into something useful.

I assure you the tree was briefly recycled into a short lived rocket decoration implement.
The resulting waste might need to be recycled too but that's a new problem ;-)

On Dec 26th, every "Christmas Tree" got turned into "Last Year's Christmas Tree". A few days/weeks after that, every "Last Year's Christmas Tree" got turned into "Mulch".

Unlike all the other trees that completed said transition, this tree had an intermediate stage, in which it got turned into something awesome.

Sure it did. Now it's the neighbor's problem.

  • For values of "new" approaching "posted 7 months ago".

  • They still have to throw the tree itself away...

For God's sake, stop researching for a while and begin to think!
